Infrared thermometers can take measurements in locations where physical contact is impossible due to moving parts, risk of electric shock, or inaccessibility.

CORPORATION is pleased to announce the launch of the FT3700-20 and FT3701-20 Infrared Thermometers, which provide non-contact temperature measurement with one-touch simplicity. Infrared thermometers can take measurements in locations where physical contact is impossible due to moving parts, risk of electric shock, or inaccessibility.

The two available models are suited for use in different applications: the long-focus FT3700-20 for measuring temperature over a wide area, and the long-focus/narrow-field FT3701-20 for measuring temperature at a more precise point.

In response to customer feedback indicating that the single-point laser marker used by the previous product made it difficult to identify the measurement range, HIOKI has incorporated a two-point laser marker into the FT3700-20 and FT3701-20 to provide users a clear indication of the measurement range. A display backlight further boosts convenience by improving visibility in the dark locations where temperature measurements are often made.

Advanced Features

Two versions to suit your unique applications
(1)    FT3700-20: Long-focus design is ideal for measuring temperature over a wide area. At a distance of 1 m, the FT3700-20 measures the average temperature inside a circle with a diameter of 83 mm. (Distance:diameter of field of view = 12:1)
(2)    FT3701-20: Long-focus/narrow-field design is ideal for measuring temperature at a more narrow point. At a distance of 1 m, the FT3701-20 measures the average temperature inside a circle with a diameter of 52 mm. (Distance:diameter of field of view = 30:1)
