High Temperature Ceramic Type R/S Thermocouple and this range of platinum sensors is ideal for high temperature applications and are rated to 1600°C. They are available in type R or S thermocouple calibration, with Class 1 accuracy.

The assembly features a non-porous recrystallised alumina protection sheath with a diameter of 15mm. This has a higher operating temperature than an aluminous sheath and greater resistance to thermal, chemical and physical shock. The stainless steel support tube is 21.3mm diameter (1/2” SCH 40) and 100mm long as standard.

Available in three standard lengths of 300mm, 500mm or 1000mm below an IP68 KNE weatherproof terminal head housing a ceramic terminal block.

Many options are available such as; alternative lengths, diameters, ceramic materials, as well as duplex elements.
